The beta on Android

The next build, a week or two before it reaches Google Play. It can break; that is the point, and your report is what fixes it.

The beta is open, no invite code needed. You need a Google account on the device.

Join the beta

Android phones, tablets and Android TV. Open the link on the device you want it on.

  1. Open the link

Open the link above on the device, signed in with the Google account you use in Google Play. On a TV, open it on your phone with the same account.

  2. Tap Join, then install

Tap Join, wait a minute, then open Swiftly Player in Google Play and tap Install or Update. The beta replaces the normal version and keeps your servers.

  3. Tell me what broke

Write on Discord or open an issue on GitHub. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened. The version number is in Settings.

Tell me what you think

A beta is only useful if you say what happened. Two short ways, both read by one person.

Other systems

Swiftly Player also runs on Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV and Android and Android TV. Every download is on the start page.

Swiftly Player uses VLCKit and libVLC by VideoLAN under the LGPL 2.1 or later. Licenses and source
